Canadian International College (CIC) and
Cape Breton University (CBU)
recently have signed a
Student Exchange Agreement to enhance the
educational and cross-cultural understanding of students from both
institutions
The Exchange will be applied for students for one Academic year or
one Academic semester. This chance will make them gain broaden personal
and educational perspectives from exploring and appreciating new
cultures, also learning from different professors will let them improve
their educational experience and their personnel growth. Studying abroad
is an opportunity to widen the university boundaries. Students should
subject all academic rules and discipline policies at CBU and be
responsible for all living expenses, accommodation, transportation and
any other costs in Canada.
CIC students should complete at least one year at CIC with a minimum
average of 75% over the previous two semesters with no failures.
Students whose first language is not English must provide a proof of
English Proficiency(TOEFL 550, IBT 80 or ILETS 6.5). Although, CIC
students enrolled in the student exchange program are not eligible for
CBU Scholarship.
Students should have a responsibility to obtain the study visa to
Canada, also paying the cost of travel to and from CBU beside the full
tuition fees at CIC prior to participating in the Program and securing
health insurance with paying medical costs as well. Student should
return to CIC after the period of exchange is over unless both
institutions approve to extend the stay.
CIC and CBU Exchange Program is considered as a great chance for
students to experience their learning environment, and now fill in the
Student Exchange application form at the CIC External Affairs
Department prior to 30
