PwC Audit Simulation at the CIC

PwC Audit Simulation is one of the main events that has been hosted by the Canadian International College (CIC) on the 3^rd and the 4^th of November 2012, to expose the students to the real life audit experience.

The PwC Audit Simulation team helped prepare CICians to understand a lot of audit principles from the real-life practical and get ready for the job market upon their graduation .

The main topics that were covered during the simulation are:
·         Understanding the purpose of an audit.
·         Identifying the various stages of an audit.
·         Understanding the different financial statement assertions.
·         Understanding the different types of audit tests and procedures.
·         Understanding the concept of materiality.
·         Identifying the various kinds of audit reports.

The Simulation’s final competition was ended with an internship at PwC & “Khaled Sabahy” won this internship.

CIC congratulates Khaled for his self-motivation and his efforts in the simulation and encourage all students to participate in such job market preparation events.
